This image captivates one of the busiest ponds of Bhaktapur, Siddhapokhari. Mostly, teenagers and college students walk in and around this pond. However, the old aged people live their infancy here by playing different traditional games like ‘Baghchal’ and ‘Kasi Mala Pya’. They gather around this place and relive their younger days with their fellows. This glorious and chronicle man-made pond was fabricated by King Yaksha Malla in the 17th century and is still in very good condition. You can easily locate this place. It is right behind Bhaktapur hospital, Dudhpati. This waterhole is counted as the largest manmade pond of Bhaktapur with a length of 171 m, 73m width and 3m depth.
